The SIHU00083 – PharmWater project contributes to the removal of pharmaceutical residues in smaller watercourses receiving treated wastewater in the Mura-Drava-Danube UNESCO Biosphere Reserve area by outlining key considerations for professionals working on pollution remediation in the region. Specifically, it provides guidance on what aspects to consider when integrating the fourth level of treatment during the technological reconstruction of a wastewater treatment plant to address pharmaceutical residue contamination.
