PENge and PENdroid Student Talent Development Programs

The PENge and PENdroid programs offer motivated students a unique opportunity to go beyond traditional university studies and become part of a dynamic, practice-oriented academic community.

At the University of Pannonia Nagykanizsa – University Centre for Circular Economy, these talent development programs are designed to support students who are eager to grow professionally, gain real-world experience, and actively contribute to both research and community life.

Participants may also receive performance-based scholarships in recognition of their academic excellence and active engagement.

Students involved in the program take part in ongoing research and development projects, collaborate on professional assignments, and contribute to the organization of university events. Their work is supported by experienced academic mentors across different fields.

  • Designing and refining questionnaires and interview guides
  • Conducting surveys and interviews
  • Processing and digitalizing research data
  • Performing basic statistical analyses and exploring relationships
  • Conducting literature reviews and collecting secondary data
  • Exploring the application and development potential of VR technologies
  • Developing simple machine learning and AI-based solutions
  • Creating simple game applications
  • Contributing to industrial software environments (e.g. ERP interfaces, warehouse management systems)
  • Supporting automation projects (hardware and software components)
  • Testing applications
  • Supporting laboratory and infrastructure activities (equipment preparation, measurement recording, data management)
  • Conducting measurements and data collection
  • Assisting with research documentation and data processing
  • Performing other related technical tasks

In addition to research activities, students may actively contribute to the organization of University Centre events through:

Preparation and follow-up of scientific and professional programs.

Event planning and program development.

Supporting recruitment activities and career orientation events.
